We chose the project “Entra dins d’un quadre”. During this week, we’ve learned a lot about art and history. We’ve studied the evolution of fashion, the evolution of faces through paintings and the art movements.
After much work, we have come to the following conclusions:
-Generally human figures have a neutral facial expression.
-This art was used to decorate churches.
-They used heavy dark contours.
-The costumes have volume and movement.
-Human figures have gestures.
-They used stone and marble.
-Sculptures express feelings.
-They also represent the reality.
-They used marble and bronze.
-They have the following characteristics: the variety of colours predominate in this kind of pictures, they used curved lines,the sculptures are made of marble and bronze, and there is a contrast between light and shadow.
-They used marble.
-Sculptures represent mythological histories.
-They searched beauty, perfection and naturalness.
In conclusion, this project has been a really good experience as well as a very interesting topic because we’ve studied the art’s evolution during this last week.

- IN NEOCLASSICISM:
-They used marble.
-Sculptures represent mythological histories.
-They searched beauty, perfection and naturalness.
